I want to build a Valu-Mart. #7474. The measurements are listed beow. Is the depth the vertical depth of the boat or the distance from the tip of the inside of the sponson to the deck? Also what is APL? I have an idea but need conformation.

The depth of the hull is measured from the lowest point on the hull, usually the aft bottom, to the highest point, usually the deck at the sponson stransom.

The afterpalne length is measured from the sponson transom to the back of the boat
