when taking the measurement for the c/g (33%). is that measured from the rear of the itself or from the back edge of the overhang ??

thanks

You know, I never thought about the 1/8" over hang on the sponson bottoms when measuring for the CG. But, + or - 1/8" in a 9" measurement isn't going to make that much difference when establishing the CG. At least, I don't think it would.

I asked that Grimracer guy the same question and he told me to measure from the sponson former, and ignore the overhang.

jeff and jerry,

I guess the 1/8 overhang is not a big deal.

but,if the boat likes a c/g of 33% without weights than I guess we need to know where to measuse from.

thanks for your input!!

respectfully
