Robert, I use the Dubro glo starters and they seem to work fine on my 45-91 motors. They grip the OD 89 plugs well. You may still have to loosen the plugs a bit to get newer/tighter motors to fire easily.

RCATS! The current one is a 5500ma Lipo that only needs to be charged once a year. A bit pricey but the Ferrari of glow drivers for sure. With the rubber case it will run you $140.
