hi! i have a 20" x 8" hull (still ongoing). this is intended for a graupner mini-jet drive. the design is based (intended to be anyway) on a personal watercraft.

now i have a OS .21 rgm lying around here. is it possible to use this engine in this hull considering its size? i'll try to put pictures as soon as i can. has anyone tried to put a .21 size engine in a 20" hull?

anything is possible, but that is really over powered for that size hull. just my .02

I agree much to much power but if the boat dosent already have strakes then put some on and make sure you have a turn. If you can keep it uner controll it should be faster than heck.

well i've looked at it again, and think, maybe you're right, much too small. i'll just stick to jet drive with this one and just build a bigger one for the nitro.
