Thanks to the Huntsville Model Boaters for putting of a Good Event. Yes it was Summer Hot!!! Congrats to Jose Win for the Gene Taylor TWIN Traveling Award!! The ROADRUNNERS were on POND PATROL!!! BEEP BEEP!! Time to Work on the boats during the summer and Prepare for Some more Racing later in the year & carry the Grandkids Camping!! Thanks to all of the other boaters that attended from out of town! The Compettion was Good in Every class........ We did not get to Match Race the 2 top 90 singles vs the 2 Top TWINS... the 90 singles were Broke?? The 2 Top Twins were in the pits waiting for them!

No, after checking with Barry Petrowski winner of F Hydro his boat was not broken at all. He was ready to run!!! He did not know about the single vs twin shoot out, and it was not offered as posted in the flyer.

David Hall was talking about it on the CD stand after the Twin Race....... David knew the 2 Top Twins were Ready to Race!! but the 2 Top 90 Hydros he said were broken????????

There were not enough single hydros left to fill the match. Two twins and one single is not a very good race.

It was a huge team effort by all, THANK YOU. Would like to thank every body for putting up with the heat and some questionable calls, but we got it done. For those who were lucky enough to watch the last heat of twin hydro it was "oneHellofa" race. Joe said he came to race, is was 5 1/2 laps of sponson to sponson, 80+mph racing, congratulations Jose.
