Dusted off my 38 in Youngblood mono powered by a CMB 65 Gran Prix spinning a X-460. According to the gps it ran 60.7 mph. I have a CMB fat belly pipe and wondering if anyone could reccommend a pipe length. It slipped back during the day and didn't seem to affect the performance. It was set at 11 1/2 before it slipped to a little over 12 inches. The only problem I had was hopping in the turns. The turn fin is 1 3/4 wide, flat on the bottom as opposed to rounded(side view), and extends 2 in below the bottom. I wish I would have left the Tidewater Marine hardware on the boat. It handled like a dream. I took the built in trim tabs off the bottom and installed 2 Speedmasterish tabs in the middle on each side. Maybe I should have 4 tabs? Thanks for any input!
