my club is Sky Hydro unlimited from queens NY.... i recently moved to perth amboy NJ so you and I we're neighbours.... the problem is that in NJ its a pain to use any water that's not approved by the town, we used kennedy park a few years ago for a Nats and it seems like they blacklisted Namba so i haven't found anywhere to run close to home. so i go to a lake in bristol PA its an hour drive from me plus there a great group that runs there Sundays at 12. i'm going there tomorrow....i could also go to North pond in Ny that's also 1 hr away but thats plus the toll. lets get in touch....lhaydnhenry@gmail .com. Our season starts May 5th and you can find our race schedule and lake directions at www.namba-1.com

Lay, yes i remember those days of Kennedy Park... and grampa Joe would bring the girls pastries ( Sayreville borough hall ) to get the permits signed... yes nobody wants us around anymore.. noise .. etc...

honestly im not up for driving hours to plunk my boat in the water... ( although it may come to that ) if i find something closer ill keep you in the loop. please do the same !

i may join the local namba in the meantime to support the cause !!

Joe, I'm in Union Beach just south of you and Lay. I have no test sites near me. I have not tested a boat in years, run open water when I go to a race. Raced at Fort Richie in Maryland this weekend. Have not run NAMBA race in years, 1 day races not worth the effort. OMHO

Ray, i haven't run in years.. i guess theoretically my boats should run just as i put them away.. LOL yea right ! I ran with Brian Charney and John Mondano mostly... Ocean county park, weequahic park, Kennedy park ( Sayreville ), Roxbury, Del Val, to name a few... those were fun days !

Joe, we must have met, just can't put a face to a name. I too raced with Charney, Steve Garatano, Rob Ascolice and Joe Boffa kept us supplied with many trips to Fl. WAIT oh WOW, did you own the radiator shop in Sayerville. If so, you also built me my first desk top computer.

I'm doing well, still kicking.I retired from Ny carpenters local about 6 years ago after 30 years in. Have not talked to Brian in years, see his mentor Jim Allen at the races every once in a while. I heard Joe B passed many moons ago, still have a AB yellow Mongoose he brought up from Fl. and sold to me. Are you still running a Stick radio?:D Have not run Namba in years, mostly Impba in Maryland, Charleston, SC and get out to Indiana once in a blue moon with Bob Morton. PM me your e-mail and Cell# I have some old school video of us racing at Roxbury. Blast from the past, such good times.
