Hey Gang,

Dad spoke w/ Mike Cliatt tonight and the entries are starting to roll in. As usual everyone seems to be waiting until the last minute to register. Guess I can't say too much, my entry just hit the mail this afternoon...

The flyer for the 2005 GA Championships can be downloaded HERE. The race has a 200 boat limit and an entry deadline of August 24th.

Dont forget about [SIZE=14pt]THE 2005 F-MONO v/s LSG MONO TITLE FIGHT[/SIZE] The top 3 finishers in F-Mono will face off against the top 3 finishers in LSG 23-30 MONO in a one heat TITLE FIGHT. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, 6 laps of balls to the walls racing, NO EXCUSES...

I hope some of the gas guys are going to get out to this race. I haven't seen Bo since he showed most everyone the fast way around the lake back in March. I expect to see some of the monos from Ogeechee this past weekend there to show us nitro boys the errors of our ways??!!

Sorry to hear that you will not be able to make it... I wish we could have avoided a race on Labor Day weekend, but the schedule just worked out that way. Hope to see you again @ the 2006 Spring Nats!

Lamar We have always enjoyed the racing @ atlanta & you can bet I will return in 2006 @ Spring Nats..... I would like nothing better than to Hook Horns with the Gas guys in the MONO Shoot out.... Alway you cut it ....It is always FAST Competiiton in Atlanta... P.S. Huntsville Fall race also has a Excellent F Mono shoot out called FAST 8 F MONO SHOOT OUT. We take the 8 Highest points F monos for 1 Heat WINNER takes 6` Traveling Award........ If you have a FAST F mono Bring it to HUNTSVILLE in Oct..... Last Year this race was WILD & INTENSE...... Mr. Ortiz carried the Award to Knoxville TN.

Joe, what type of skis do you have? I have a 2001 RXDI and a 2004 XPDI. We go to the matanzas inlet and jump the surf, it is a blast!!!! I took John Brown one time and it took him all of 45 seconds to break two of his toes!!??? I must say though, he did not complain and rode all day with broken toes.

I know what you mean about the age thing. Two years ago, me and some buddies decided we would ride from South Fl. to the Bahamas.....sounded great right up until the time we told the wives The RXP's are very cool boats. I have owned XP's for years and just have a ball riding them.
