i am looking to get one of these,is there any difference between the ones i see in the stores that just say futaba,and the ones like on ebay that say megatech futaba .otherwise they seem the same.

Brian, they are the same 3PK radios, I have one from Ebay. The new 3PK-S has an different button control for the screen and more memory for more boats/cars.
