Well guys I finally got the cmb 67 gold head to run! I tried every thing you guys said and then some to no avail. Since there was nothing left to try, I tried to start it backwards (clockwise) and it fired right up! I called Bobby @ cmb (real nice fellow) and the only thing left he could think of was it was made to run that way for a twin, mail it down and he'll have a look. Well it turned out the drum rotor housing was in upside down, what a brick wall for a new-be,this was a brand new engine too. Bobby fixed me up and I had it back in record time! Mike
