Engines for a JAE .45

I am building a JAE .45 and was wondering if my J&B .40 from one of my planes would work?

You will be better off to find a used 45 marine engine that is decent condition. Someone one here could probably come up with something for a hundred bucks or so. You'll spend that in conversion parts, time and frustration on the airplane engine.

Hey,

I would say the 45 Mac motor is your best choice for overall running performance. In the last few years I have tried the following with difficulties and some success in various aspects when running riggers, CMB, Picco, & Nova Rossi.

The success and failure list on how well the motors ran or didn't run is long!

Go with a used 45 mac you wont be disappointed. Someone is bound to help you out.

i have a used k&b 45 i purchased in a sport 40 i will never use. you can have it if you want it. I PERSONALY PERFER PICCO. THEY WILL LAST A LONG TIME IF PROPERLY TAKEN CARE OF.

I would look for a mac,cmb,picco or a/a there may be others but its early and cant think well. if you do buy used, make sure parts are available.
