ok ive got this idea

my dad built a .12 mono that looks like a seaducer

ive never ran it with a .12 engine so.................

i figure to put a 17 turn motor in it and see what it does!

ill be using octura rudder and strut combo

i need some help on what i need to get

so guys .................help please!

Hi JT,How big is your boat.If it is a .12 mono I suspect it will be around 24 to 26 inches.This is too big for a car motor.You would do well with that motor in a 18 to 21" boat on 6 cells
 
boat is actually 22 inches but now me and my dad are putting a .12 in there any way
 
Lets see, you will need an electric motor mount http://www.offshoreelectrics.com they have one. You will also need an electronic speed control, marine is best but onroad type will work if you can get enough cooling. You wll need to make a water tight radio box to prevent moisture from frying your esc and radio. Pretty much everything is on the link i gave you.
