Just a thought for anyone building a boat with a straight turbine tube. I took a 16oz miller light aluminum bottle and polished it. Turned out perfect size and light. Red scotchbrite will take the paint right off, then a short time with a buffing wheel and some compound and it will be a mirror! There are lots of different size cans at the store if you look. I did all my work on a unopened can to help hold its shape. Might be able to slit the bottom and put a tighter roll on one end for a tapered tube also... have not tryed that yet. Hope this helps somebody!

For my Gas scale "Winston Lobster" I got a piece of three inch aluminum dryer tube at Lowes welded the seam and cut to fit hull over pipe. You can't tell it was home made!!

Later!!
