collets that are true

I have been having trouble getting my novarossi 12 to scream then I noticed my collet is not running true maybe this is some of my problem who makes a good collet that is straight and has that nice shoulder on it that fits in the flywheel? thanks doug twaits

Doug,

You are running the 5-port Nova correct? It has a 5 mm crankshaft thread.

Al Hobbs does not have 5mm collets like you need, however if you run the Hot Rod 12 motor

They are 1/4-28. Al has the nicest collets available currently. I will look into my collection and

see what I can find for you?

You need to say what size cable or is it wire drive, as I don't think has them for wire. Hey Mark I just about have one of the 12 boats done. Have to paint and rig yet.

thanks guys it has 150 cable and yes its a 5 port nova from the looks I have a octura
