Lol....me, neither....just went to the stockpile and grabbed whatever fit.

You going to do this hobby, ya need a stockpile, and know-how on fabrication and improvisation.

I've cut the end off of a #'rd drill bit that fit.

I just use a #xx drill bit (whichever # fits the engine), use as an alignment pin when slipping the sleeve in and head on. Pull the #xx drill bit out and install/torque water jacket/air cool head. The engine dose not need the pin installed to run, just make sure not to twist/rotate the head button while installing/torqueing the water jacket.
