CMB .45 case

Does anyone know were I can get a case for a CMB .45 purple head motor? The top broke off the bottom of my old one.

If i am not mistaken, the purple head case is the same as the new ( HR ) model only the back plate is different.. the p/s is also the same

Naw man thats a big no NO NO it's not same.

the only differance i can find between the 45 hydro motor and the purple head motor is the back of the case on the hydro motor is chamfered on the bore for the oring used to seal the rotor housing. they use the same crank, p/l,rod, and head button, water jacket is different color. thinking of putting a red water jacket on my purple head to confuse people.

I have about every other part in stock for that generation of motor except cases. I know some have put an old drum rotor housing on the new HR motors, so good chance the the HR case will work.
