I have had and still have a love afair with the Honda CBX 1100 straight 6 Cylinder. A guy that worked for me back in 79 bought a brand new one and let me ride it. Oh my God, I had to cut the ride short before I killed myself. That thing would do 70 mph in 1st gear! I am sure the Busa's and current line of other super bikes are similar. I am wise enough and old enough to be happy with my GoldWing now. lol

jeez!!! 2 mini bikes, 6 motorcycles & 30 cars. i think i got them all, if i remember more i'll update the list. i still own the 750 triple, 1993 galant, 1973 charger,1988 mitsu p/u, 2001 kia & the 2.5 rs. oops, 1 more, back aruond #3 or 4, a 1963 chevy impala convertible -327 4 bbl auto. make that 31. i've had excellent luck with early 90's mitsubishi's. every one has gone well over 200K. the wife's current galant has 329K & i have never been deeper in the engine than a timimg belt or water pump. she just got back from s. carolina, got 31 mpg. my personal favorites? the suzuki X-6 hustler & the 1971 FHP fury. the suzuki would absolutely embarrass a triumph 650 bonneville from a stop light, fun little rice rocket back in 1967. the fla. hiway patrol fury was a 4 door sports cars long before nissan's maxima. 4800 lbs., would light the tires up thru first, about 1/2 of second & chirp third on a good day. just put it in drive & nail it. no brake stands needed. then it would bury a certified 140 mph speedo on the top end! throw it sideways in a turn in second, nail it & it would 4 wheel drift & just drive out of it, no fishtailing. they say you might outrun the car, but you can't outrun motorola, well i sure wouldn't like to have tried this one on. the 1950 panel has a lot of good memories, that was before i was married..........

Now my buddy on a different day went down at about 20mph. He got on the brakes to hard and way to hard on the front as a person pulled out in front of him. The tail of the bike came around and crushed his head. 1 month in the hospital with multiple brain surgerys 1 months in lala land to wake up and a year of rehab I had my best friend back. And the driver of the car left the scene.. Luckily a roofer from 3 blocks away heard and seen the car leave. He saw my friend laying there and got my buddy a helicopter ride!!!

Needless to say I have no idea how I survived and my friend had such a bad deal...
