Cancelled Races

To all members.

The IMPBA sanctioned race that is scheduled for June 22 & 23 at Collingwood is CANCELLED.

The IMPBA sanctioned Canadian Nationals Fast Electric Race that was

schedule for July 6, 7 & 8 at Collingwood is also CANCELLED.

The short story for the reason(s) why we had to cancel these two races is due to a land zoning issue

that was only discovered by noise complaints. Before you even ask, we where well withing the 92DB

rule limit. Even the police officer said "that's not to loud", and left the site.

I hope this doesn't mean you guys have lost your pond.

If it does are you searching or have found another site?

Is there a chance of rescheduling the racing at a new location?

If you are interested in holding your races in London, Ontario, please call me. Those dates are open and our pond is centrally located, especially for those coming from the US, either through Detroit or Buffalo.

Mike I will call you about a race in July....Fe only, as well as maybe an 1/8th scale invitational...FE and nitro...maybe open hydro as well as open mono...

Our last race of the season scheduled on Sept 8,9 has been cancelled :angry:

That's makes three of our four races due to a error at the township :blink: and a land zoning issue.

Hopefully we will have all sorted out for next year.
