Boat for sale Sport 40 (sold)

My last nitro boat:
This id Don Maher's old MTO sport 40. Fast boat in good running shape, could use a little cosmetic work. Typical Don build, very nice construction and attention to detail (check the pics). Set up for CMB. Needs 2 HS-81's (throttle/mixture), RX, battery, engine and pipe. Comes with a spare cowl set. Asking $350 plus whatever shipping costs. (Sold to Frank)

Hello Brian,

I had looked into buying that boat a few years back for a good friend of mine but he got laid off from his job during that time and I didn't want him to feel like he had to rig it out and run it while he was out of work. I talked to Don about the boat and got the history of it and I understand that it ran very well and was comparable to the "Green Hornet" in performance which was a very fast boat. Quite a few times I have thought that I should have just bought this boat myself but I seem to always be busy on the next project. It will make a great boat for someone.
