Mark,

I never got a reply to the pm i sent. Can i get a 21 and a 45 rudder, also prices on each? Thanks

Mark, will there be rudders available for scale hydros anytime soon.

Thanks, Kevin

Kevin, we dont race scale hydros on this side of the pond - so the answer is no. At least not "anytime soon".

- Is there a market for that?

- Sizes?

- What rudders do you use now?

- Please send as good pics as possible to me of the hardware and with measurement info etc and for what size/scale its meant for etc.

- No new items will be added this summer I think. But it could happen for next "off-season". :)

Kevin,

The 90 rudder will work very good on a scale boat.

I just sold one to a friend of mine and he thinks

it is the nicest rudder available period.

These 90 size rudders will also help the big twins

handle better also. We also have a quality 90 strut

that doesn't break on a twin or large big block set up.

Thanks For Your Inquiry,

Mark Sholund

Niklas,

A lot of calls on a bullet nose strut design.

Nice looking boat.

Boaters,

I still have some BB Hardware in stock:

6-90 Rudders which are: 5.75" long & 1.05" wide front to back,

with a leading edge thickness at .020" to .189" at the trailing edge

of the rudder. These all fit CMDI brackets and they all come with their

own brackets. This hardware is all 7075-T-6 Aluminum Very Nice Quality Stuff.

$55.00 each plus $5.20 for shipping in the USA,overseas shipping will be $10.00

In Stock Struts:

20-90 Struts $35.00 each

4-45 Struts $30.00 each

2-21 Struts $25.00 each

I would like to reorder more hardware, but I still need to sell the rest of this

inventory.

Kevin,

Bracket is 1.53" long once it is mounted on the transom.

The rudders on Niklas's boat are the same ones.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Nice looking hardware.

7075 makes really strong rudders. If they get hit from the side, the usually won't bent, but they will break.

The only real disadvantage I have seen to using 7075 in salt water it they will stain really bad if you don't clean them as soon as they come out of the water.

I make my rudders out of 7075 and a quick shot of WD-40 and a wipe down will usually keep most of the stains away.
