I should point out that the forum is not sanctioned or supported by NAMBA Intl. It is sponsored by Madison Area Fast Electrics and District 4. Our club is the only one in District 4, so MAFE is District 4.
There are also sections for the general public, but they are limited. The forum definitely has a NAMBA member focus and 75+% of those who've registered are members. After 4 days, 25%+ of the total vote count for last year's electric proposal are already registered and discussing the next one.
This board and many others cover all other aspects of electric racing and running very adequately. We don't feel a need to duplicate any of that.
Our board is moderated closely but there have been no compliants....other than one snide remark from a moderator on anoher board. Our goal is to simply keep the discussions productive and on topic. Personal exchanges or off-topic posts that break up a legitimate discussion simply disappear.
We are what we are and make no apologies to the member-only forum naysayers.
