Attaching Pics

i was just wondering if there was a way to attach pics into a post without it having to load everytime you want to read the post, like is there a way to make it so its an attachment or not?

i can turn it off so attachments dont display.... but i think most people like to see them.... you could host the pic yourself and just give the link
