Anyone from the Chicago Area?

dupage people are going to cricket creek lately. i'm in lagrange park. I've been going to the videojet pond in schumburg and I believe lake ida in countryside might be useable again this year after many years of it being unusable due to cat tails.

are Cricket Creek & Videojet open to anyone who wants to show up? I've lost my ponds in the Elgin area & don't have the time to trek to Joliet or Sundown.

i'm told the video jet pond is not open to anyone. cricket creek would be available to anyone that has a park district permit

Remember at cricket you need to fax a copy of your IMPBA membership to them first then thsy have to issue either by mail or in person the permit that you must have with you on your person when at the pond. So you can not just show up and launch, they will and do check for permits. The Dupage county cricket permit is $35.00 yearly.
