Just wondering what the deal is with sgx-2 rear centre shoe. I ran my 21 hydro today with it then I pulled it off and it went just as good.
Only noticeable difference was when I backed off the speed there was a wall of water straight up from the transom -caused by the strut which has that flat spot on top.
On my twin electric sgx-2 I don't have ski's over the shafts and it hauls with no bogging issues, hence why I took it off to test on the 21. I assume I can run a bigger prop with the centre ski in place.
Just looking for what others have tried.
