Has anyone changed the standard nut on the crank to a nylock nut?

Has it blow off breaking the motor in on the stand lol

Got tired of mine falling off and changed to nylock.

I did run through break in "rich" then stop and nut fell off so I put red lock sealant on crankshaft . Now it not problem run very well

I use Loctite 243, never had an issue.

Most everyone uses a nylon lock nuts so it doesn't come loose, especially when they hydro-lock after a flip. You can also place the nut in a vise and slightly compress the nut to make it lock even more, like an oversized "Zuber" nut. A little goes a long way.
