We had 3 days of records with some on and off weather but with over 30 records set on both 1/4 and 1/3 ovals I would some it up as a great event! Thanks Kentley Porter for all your hard work to make it all happen.

Yes Scott. Thanks Kentley Porter for all you do in our hobby and for the SAW and OVAL events that you make happen each and every year!!! Thanks to you Scott for manning the retrieve boat and for your help launching. Hanging with old and new friends was again my favorite part.... ;)

I was only able to make it on Friday as a family emergency came up, but even though the weather didn't cooperate for my tunnels, I was able to get one established in Crackerbox on the 1/4 mile oval. Congrats to everyone that was able to establish or break over 30 records this weekend. What a huge success!!!

Looks like District 12 is a hotbed of record boats again! Congrats to all you guys and KP for putting on a great event and starting the season off with a BANG!!!

We will post soon.. I can tell you a few new scale 1/4 & 1/3, new A mono, C mono, A hydro, A sport hydro, can't remember everything...

Thanks KP for being the one man band in making the record trial a success. We all chipped in to help where we could at the event but Kentley did all the footwork leading up to the event. Great job buddy! You deserve a big hand of applause!!!

Guys, had a great time. Special thanks to KP and Scott for another great event! :)

It was great to see everyone again. I'm glad I could add some entertainment today in the 20+ mph winds. I could hardly stop laughing! A special congrats goes out to Grant!

Thanks KP for all your hard work. Scott was right up there with him also.

We broke records, we broke boats, we fried gear!! We also have new record holders in the district and that is very cool.

Unoffical records that I can recall on the FE side were T-Hydro, Q-Mono, P-Cat, P-Sport hydro and a bunch of Stock and Super Stock.

Thanks to John Finch and Dick Loeb for spending an hour and a half helping me trouble shoot one of my gas boats. You guys are the best!

It was great seeing everyone after a long cold winter. Got home and immediatly started getting boats ready for the district race next weekend!

D12 Rocks!
