first off welcome back.....

2.4 is the newest thing,,absolutely awsome,,,no more crystals is awsome,,absolutely no intereference gets at these new 2.4 radios... love the fact that the antenas are gone,,u can simply lay the small one on the receiver inside the radio box with no problems... boats look cleaner without the antena tubes anyway...the 2.4 will search all available channels open and pick one,,,will never choose a channel somone is using,,the technology of these things is killer....dont hesitate to grab a futaba,, i dont think u will ever go back to conventional rx/tx one you try it....they have built in failsafes also....awsome stuff....

What camaroboy said!.....im still using FM stuff for my boats, but some of my airplane stuff is 2.4 gig and it really is something else! Only reason i dont have a Futaba 2.4 gig radio for my boats is that im out of money! :) Good systems!

What I love about the new Futaba 2.4 is 1 radio will run up to 10 receivers. So this means 1 radio controls 10 boats. So I have cut dont from 6 diffent radios to just one. 2.4 GHZ is the only way to go. Had problems last year with older radios, since going to the new Futaba Fast system 2.4 have not one lick of problems. The receivers are expensive but well worth every dollar!!!!

Picked up a 4PK last year, haven't looked back since. 10 receivers you say? The 4PK is up to 40 models. Think if I get that many boats my 2nd wife will become my 2nd X.. LOL

How does the third channel fuel mixture work on the radio? Is it easy to set up?

Thank you for the copy of the manual.

I still cant find anything about a third channel needle adjustment. I guess I will need to dig further.
Patrick.... 3rd channel manual pages 56-57-58---this radio is much like my JR Radio...the two digital trims you would use are on the side of the handle grip...pick one digital trim switch that is good for your thumb location & you are ready to adjust your needle. Here is a link to the futaba page on that radio....at the bottom it will show the digital trim locations you can use for 3rd channel....hope this helps.
