Hey Guys,

Does anyone know what degree of angle the turn fin should be? And any idea what tool to use to get that angle?

Thanks

Tracy-

Which angle are you referring to?? If you are talking about the fin being straight up & down as opposed to angled in towards the hull that all depends on the fin. The scale turn fins that Dick Tyndal makes get mounted straight up as the bottom is curved like a rigger fin. B)

Ok, Thanks Don :)

Yes if it is a Tyndall turn fin it mounts 90 degrees to the waterline, any of the turn fins with a curved bottom work well that way.

If you use a straight fin blade you could slot the turn fin mount holes so you can adjust the angle.
