15cc stinger muffler

What size stinger bore are you guys using on a 90 tuned pipe muffler?

I'm using a prather large stinger muffler on a 90 hydro motor and its acting like it had a long stinger. (Holding too much heat)

The bore of the hole is 0.435"

too small?

We run .500 Id stingers on our k-90's and CMB 100. Gary

I still have to run a test without the muffler (but with earplugs!!) to see if this is really the problem.

Has anyone found an acceptable muffler to get the 15CC macs under the IMPBA limit and with good performance?

I've talked with CMDi and they have one coming out that they say will work.

I am interested in hearing other options

Cooper's .550 bore ball muffler worked for me on a Mac 15cc pipe with a 1.01. Runs about 88db
