I have a little bottle rocket, made of wood, about 26in long and a recessed transom. I put an SS on it and its first run out was great. Now just dialing it in for the next time out and was wondering if some of that skeg could be taken off. thx.

IS there any reason not to turn the top housing 180 deg. so the carb. will face the front? Thoughts....opinions.....thx.

x440/2 vs. x440/3 Any diff.? Will one give more or less lift to the front than the other?

I ran a 1440 on my fiberglass 27 in. Hotshot today with a 3.5 ss and it was one hell of a day at the lake. Got the mota broke in and had a blast. Only thing is after all the adj. I could throw at it I think I need a prop that doesn't lift as much. I couldn't even give it 3/4 throttle for more...

I'm looking for a good play boat, something that I can play with when its not like glass. This boat will not be raced. Has to be 3.5. I love tunnels but maybe a V ???

For a 3.5ss the tank will be 4 inches ahead of and slightly below.

Hello Guru's. I have a brand new 3.5 ss on the way and need to know if there is anything special that I need to do to it or with it. Any help on these motors would be a big help. thanks.
