I just received another shipment of K45 marine engines from Ukraine.

Complete engine less carb.

Price remains the same, $385.00 plus shipping.

I hope to get a prototype example of a K21 marine engine in March or April. I am optomistic, but I'm also keeping my fingers crossed.

I did not like the carburetor that the manufacturer produces for the K45, so I'm bringing them in without a carb. The carb size neck should be 15mm. I'm using a Rod Geraghty carb made for a Picco 45. Some people are getting carbs from Speedmaster.

Yes, Harry makes a great carb for the NR46DD....We bought 2 when Dale was running them, standard bore and large bore.

Al, regarding your new K engines, are they ready to go out of the box, or do they need any finishing work, other than typical sleeve deburring?...does Anatoly do your P&L's, and if so, is he doing the high quality P&L fit and final finish hone?....his work on his CMB P&L's is extraordinary - you can't get as good of a finish honing with the Sunnen P-180 Honall as Anatoly can.

Thanks-

Tim

I would never start up any new engine without first disasembly and inspection. That being said, the fit and finish on the K45 is exceptional and I have found no shavings or burrs to remove in the engines I checked.

Anatoly did a lot of work for my A/A 45 kit engines and is helping with my A/A 21 Pro engines. He was not involved in the manufacture of the K45, although he and the manufacturer are friends.

Right, that's what I was alluding to, the kit engines you mentioned way back at the beginning of your venture.

I'm with you prechecking and adjusting all fitments.

Thanks

Timbo the fit is a optional extra with anatolys cmb piston/sleeves.

I just received a CMB V5 PS SET from Anatoly and the 2 included pistons are perfectly matched to the sleeve. When I corresponded with Anatoly there was no conversation about piston liner fit.
