That helps out a bunch. It gives me what I needed for the center. One thing I could still use some help on is the boat in 65 and 66 looked like there was a cross of some kind at the bottom instead of the date.
Thanks
Jimmy
Hello guys
Been a while since I have been here and need a little help. I am finishing the artwork for the mid 60's Miss Madison and need a good clear shot of the city's seal on the bow. All the pics I have of the original boat the seal is not real clear. Thanks for any help.

With lots of us building gas ob's what are you planning to do for a carb cover to keep the water out. I have posted on a couple of differant boards looking for a carb cover from a gas rigger or something of simular design and have not found anything but a carbon fiber one that is $60. Open for...

I hace several high res pics I took at the winter nats. Drop me an email on what you need and I will send you what I have. I can edit it to size and add any info to the pic you need.

Many folks looked at the scale tunnel I had at the winter nats. The boat we are working with is 56" and needs to be close to this size to make the engine look scale and have the bouyancy needed to support the weight of the gas engine. I am with the scale guys on this class if it becomes one. My...
Now comes the hard part, drilling the holes and cutting the hatch in that very nice paint. Always makes me nervous. Chris's huricanes are good running boats, they don't like a prop with a lot of lift. You will have fun with that one.

I think the pi I have on the way is 52" with a 10" wide tunnel. It was designed as a gas boat from the start. Should be fun learning how to get this thing to run.

My only concern with the 30 to 35% for static CG is that the gas engines and legs are much heavier than the nitro motors. The hulls for the gas motors should be wider I think to get the lift needed to carry a boat that will end up in the 14 pound range. I run my cat boats at 33 to 37% depending...
Got a hull on the way to use for testing the outboards I am working on and have a general question on CG. I have been doing a lot or reading on full size tunnel boats and they run them with the CG fairly far forward to control the lift ftom the hull. Do you do the same type of thing on the scale...
