Yesterday I made 71yrs. Started in '67 with an K&B eng, OS radio and a Dumas skiddadle mono. Hope to make the NAMBA nationals 50th anniversary! Not very many people will take the time to build and trim a boat. Much less row out to retrieve a dead boat. Can"t just walk out and get the boat...

Used header and gold K&B carb

I wouldn't trade mine for any other o/b pipe. Got two of them and they seem to run best with only with the K&B o/bs. Tried them on OS o/b but the pipes seem to prefer K&Bs. High rev pipes!

Whats the weight of the bare hull, or as it is now?

Mele Kalikimaka Jerry... No brown box, using an Orbit single stick! Like Francis King...... Boat has a K&B disc rotor with Gardner exhaust throttle. Tried the Octura 400 series prop. Not enough lift. Like to see daylight under the boat! Have a Happy New Year! keevan

Need a JG I25X prop to run on an old .40 Cobra (FG round nose sport 40) made in1991, similar to the Lil Hoss. I remember it ran best with a JG I25X prop. Anyone know what would be a good replacement (Octura,ABC,Grim).

Surefire way to find leaks! Tape radiobox, attach fuel tubing to antenna tube, submerge back of boat completely under water. Blow through fuel tubing! You will be amazed at where leaks are. Even will show bad taping job!

Zippkits tug boat makes a good recovery boat... You can put whatever on it's back deck. Also have put a grappling hook with heavy line to clean the pond of debris. Best method is as Tom said, tow a fishing line out to the boat.

Runs great....after you work the exhaust timming. The extra ignition modual and battery is a pain to find space for. All that is not attached to the engine.
