Nitrous oxide on a nitro motor

Look up a guy by the name of Rocketped on Ada's forum called a billetBoard. He runs nitrous on his scooters. He crafted a little wet system that works pretty well. He is using small bore 2-strokes like us.

Yea you have to be careful of what reed you choose. IMO nothing compares to Trevor Simpson reed blocks. Proline are ok but no longer in production. Bartalone reeds are to small and run fiberglass petals. I'm planning on running and older TS angle reed which keeps the flow going at a downward...

    Spark Ignition Nitro Engine

I personally run my own mix of fuel in my 2-strokes. After much experimenting I found that 38cc's of methanol to 1L gave me the most consistent run. To much methanol in fuel will precipitate out and cause lean spots in the fuel which can lead to cylinder failure. You need only run a bit richer...

Water pump or no water pump?

Thanks guys. No water pump it is

    School me on engine regulations

I have been studying boat porting for a while. This gives me a chance to hone that skill. You would be surprised how some of these Goped guys ride. A lot of my business comes out of Florida and they are pushing their peds for 8-15miles at a time WOT. Now think about the stress on a motor pulling...

Water pump or no water pump?

So this is my first boat and it came using a walbro pulse fed water pump to cool the motor. I have friends who have boats and none of them use a water pump. They rely on forward motion to force water through the pipe flange and head. I have a hydro coming in the mail and I'm gonna transfer my...

Little chilly here in Oregon. 3 days from now it's supposed to be 50 and raining

I'm here is Salem. I would love to come race. I got a buddy with a really nice Nitro Hydro down south who want to come up too. I got a boat and then things took off. I have been building super knarly gas motors for Gopeds for years. Now I'm gonna turn that experience towards some boats. You can...

Here is a case I did recently. This was enlarged almost 30% to accept an RCMK top end. That is a 3mm stroker crank with a +5mm long rod. This motor is pushing roughly 10hp for the customer.

Yea after much searching I saw they mainly run piston port. I'm sure a reeded motor built by me would compete with anything out there. I build at least 1 reeded motor a week. Lots of the time people don't run reeded motors cause they can get a piston port to rev higher. But this is for a few...

I plan on running a built G260 PUM in my 44" Hydro. I'm going to be building the motor myself and I don't want of over step any boundaries. For example can I run a reeded motor?

    Good Prop choices

That checked out the Namba website. I'm gonna pay my dues here shortly. Yes please give me his contact info. I would like to get in on a few races this summer. I will probably get my butt handed to me but it's all in good fun.

Gas Scale Racing in the Pacfic Northwest

I'm here in Oregon. I'm going to try to make these races with Gas Hydro

    Good Prop choices

When I'm done with motor it will be running about 7hp+. But I'm just gonna phase this out in favor of the 44" Hydro I have coming in the mail. This is just to big to deal with. It's a cool boat though. Maybe I will just cram a water cooled Polini motor in it with 12HP

    Good Prop choices

I'm an hour north of Eugene. I'm gonna try to go racing this summer. Just made a deal with a friend for a Hydro made by Insane boats. This 88" home built mono is just to heavy. Go move my motor and everything over to the hydro by this summer.
