Polyester resin & the lead pieces are layed into the nose filling the area completely & surrounding the previously installed crossover tube. Being able to add weight up in the nose sure helps getting one of these to balance out like it should. I'll take an extra pound of weight to get the CG right vs. an out of balance scale hull any day.
