Here you can see the cowl now being fitted to match with the 4" gone off the the front of it. It is much stronger up in the front area of the cowl now with that long thin section removed. I also cut the tabbed rear vertical wing out, notched the cowl to match the tabs & tacked it in place with CA. This wing part is scratch built as I thought the boat looked naked without it.
