I decided to change things up a bit went ahead and finished fitting the cowl so I could work on 'glassing in foam floatation and some additional carbon reinforcing into it while I waited on the epoxy to cure on the tub that will be applied as soon as I take everything back apart. Bob makes a nice cowl that has virtually no surface imperfections, a big plus as I've had 'glass and also carbon fiber cowls in the past that needed more work to get ready for paint than the entire rest of the boat, certainly glad that is not the case here.
