Might sound like a stupid question

But in the event it ever blew over, and engine was swamped, will that cause any damage to it?

Sucking in heaps of cold water to a hot tubine.

I would imagine that these are not cheap.

Who makes the hull also - very neat.

I havent ran this boat yet but from others who have run them they tell me that a water ingestion doesnt hurt anything. Sounds reasonable I suppose.. The reason I was given was to look at a real airliner. What happens when they fly through a rain storm?
 
I can answer that one. With the new generation of high bypass engines, the moisture hits the front compressor fan and get slung to the outside of the engine and blown out through the side thrust passages. If you look at the older low bypass engines, it's pretty much the same thing, though a majority of the air went through all 10 or so stages of the main compressor instead of around 20% or so with the high bypasss types. What most don't know about the turbine engines is that the main compressor sections don't get nearly as hot as the "hot" section. It's the hot section that would be affected by the contact with cold water. The rear turbine blades are in 1000+ degree exhaust and the sudden contact with cold water can distort or shatter the blades in milliseconds
