You’re gonna love that setup man!
I’d go ahead and get some x442’s with a Lynx cut from Shoboat on here. On a break in run with small props we got 57.2 MPH with that exact same setup. Good luck!

Yea what Zach said, we haven’t needed weight to balance any of Carl’s boats they usually are right on point after building.
When you add weight for handling concerns, NEVER directly at the front of the boat. The Lynx hates it, we always mount it at about the midpoint of the radio box.

The Lynx should balance out right at the front of the divots on the side, where are you at now?
That’s with full radio gear as well, including battery? If it is a little farther back, like I mentioned any weight you add do it at the center of the radio box. Weight too far forward will give it bad handling characteristics

Thank you for the help

I will double check my setup in the morning, 8 inches is at most where you want it. I’m 99% certain I’m hovering more around the 7 5/8 number.
With my added weight I may be closer to 8 now. 9 inches is too far forward on the Lynx.

I will check my modified boat in the morning for you to double check CG numbers. I can also get you a ball park on pipe length, we run in Florida also so setup should be comparable.
