The measurements tell me the are P45 parts and the porting in the sleeves does not match EXR version. Still a good stash of parts if you have the P45 Picco's

yeah, you are correct. Paying closer attention, the sleeves exhibit the older style porting. But definitely valuable parts if you own the older (1980's) Picco P45 marine engines. Only thing you would need are extra new rods (ie. RPM rods)

Are you referring to the blue head era
Yes and no. The round bottom and square bottom EXR era. Some were silver, some blue, and a very small batch of black heads. Just before they change the crank size to 8mm on the 2K piccos. It is not the 2K black heads. It is too simple of a sleeve design. I believe it was before EXR.

This is my 45 and they don’t fit
I have the same P-45. To my knowledge, this was the first P-45 that Picco introduced. The head button sits on top of the cylinder. The second generation P-45 had fins on the exhaust stub. The head button protrude into the sleeve. From your pictures, it looks like sleeve 1, 2, 3 should fit your engine. You also have two head buttons (2 and 3) that fit on top of the sleeve.

Put a picture up so you can see the issue, the sleeve match up so I took the rod piston sleeve and installed it to see what works

I can see the difference just from the picture. I am now wondering if the smaller p/l is for a .40. I believe Picco released a .40 aero version at the time.
I just looked it up. Picco .40 has a bore of 20mm. That's 0.787". I think your smaller p/l are indeed for a .40
