Two Words:LARRY KRAEMER

Look at the driver in this boat, it's one of his
HJ;

The boat in the picture, where did you get her from? Any pics of the inside?
HJ showed me that boat while I was out there,I believe its a Troy built and not a tiller. Rick have you looked at a Velasco
That's a Muck hull, now being built by John Borden (Lone Star Boats). I've got one sitting on the shelf to be built this summer. :)

It's, as Don said, a Muck hull. I bought it from Piper Chuck and he bought it from some one out in California if I remember right. It's in the process of being refurbished and the plan is to have it on the water this season

It is indeed a Muck. I sold it for a guy here in my district that got out of racing. Howard Moore owned it and I believe Roy Munoz did some work on it. Not sure how much he did or where the boat actually came from.

"Rick have you looked at a Velasco"

Hey Mike,

Rick built a Velasco Gen 2 for Ron Ratoff, and now has a Thomas 82U55 'plastic' hull for Bill Gibson (That's just for you Phil - from Mr. Brand "X" - har, Har !!) that he has modified the bottom of significantly. He keeps this up and I'm going to cut him off - Har, Har !!! I have been trying to convince him that he CAN build WOF for himself. I'm getting pretty old and have no sons, so Ricky Ticky had best start getting HOT !!!

He has a new Sporty 40 to finish - not of ticky tacky, and it doesn't all look the same - when he quits playing with plastic - pic attached.

OK, back to the roof I go. CHEERS !!! Bob

I actually do make a driver for that hull, I run a velasco as the 80 bud, and as said, I make several styles of drivers in a variety of scales from 1/16th to 1/6th

here is a shot of my 80 bud back up,

So if I said I need three for some 30" Pak builds and one or two for 36" Paks, how much would I be looking at?

Sorry to jump the thread. Mr Hansen did you receive my e mail inquiring about a driver figure. Thanks.

For the 30" pak, that is roughly 1/12th scale, the 36" is 10th scale, I do give volumn discount, and prices in the catalogue include Priority mail shipping, I am also in the process of reducing my prices as we are all feeling the pinch and we know the first thing to go is our hobbies, 5 drivers will be somewhere around 95 dollars shipped 10th scale drivers now come with steering wheels included, and I have just made a new mold with better details etc, my home computer crashed about 8-9 months ago and all my pictures were lost so I am taking new ones and updating my catalogue. I also make merlin exhaust in 1/12th, 1/10th and 1/6th ( for 1/8th use Larry Kraemers they're very very nice)

I also make a 1/0th scale merlin, and a 1 piece floating Allison in 8th scale

here is the 1 piece merlin

rollsmerlin007.jpg

and the allison can be found here

http://www.rumrunnerracing.com/feforums/showthread.php?t=31274&highlight=allison+engine

these engines do float btw...

I have also just obtained all the Bill fritz engine molds for Merlin and Allisons in 8th scale so these will be available shortly as well.

I will also be building a merlin in 6th scale for my own use so I will probably be making molds for the merlin in 6th as well.

speaking of 6th scale I am just finishing the master for a pair of 1/6th drivers for the 1/6th crackerbox class, comes complete, dashboard, wheel etc

pics soon.

Mark Yes I have I replied to your message

Eddie, will the 1/6 scale driver you plan for the crackerbox work with the Jersey Skiff, which is closer to 1/4 scale? We talked about this some time ago.The wheel on the Skiff is horizontal unlike the crackerbox, will the driver's arms adapt? If it works, please put me on the list.

The Bud boat is really cool,Is this the electric powered boat with the illuminated instruments?
