Looks awesome David! Did you stain the tops of the sponsons like that or were they already the darker color to begin with?

Pickled it two time with Z pox finish resin thats all. then scraped in between coats with a razor blade and razor blade finish.

Okume is what Andy uses I am sure. It is the lightest wood.

All so looks great.

Will rub it down with carnauba wax to finish and maintain..

Rocky, nobody is making c/f cowls right now. The gentleman that was making some is in Isreal and I have not herd from him in awhile.
