Got a new shaft and I took some bend out of the stuffing tube. I'm gonna shallow the strut a bit and go back where I was. The more I think about it I think mikey may b right. I may be shoving the boat down too hard. We shall see.

It is the negative drive angle most likely. Loosen collet and see if it spins free. Rev it a few times on dry land and see if i gets a hot spot back there.

I got a new shaft from speedmaster. I can't remember where I got the previous shaft but the speedmaster shaft has WAY more flex to it and in several hundredths smaller in diameter.
