Guy's I would not cut off the skeg........

As Mic said performance difference is squat, An you cant turn well at all.

Best served to go with a OS or K&B lower and do some prop work,

Gene, I've sent Norm the Prather offset skeg, so time will tell if that will help out. Should give him a good turning point. Still can't believe UPS wanted $90

to ship that tiny lightweight box down under.

Yea should work out fine......

Found a pic, Mike Hughes had a offset on his Lynx / K&B lower,

Thanks for the photo, looks to me like the prop will get nice clean water to it. Looking forward to putting it together and giving it a run.

Hi,

if so , try a separate ruder and fix the outbord straight . The outset fin workes not as good as a skeg will do bigger skeg has better control but moore drag . With separate ruder you can use the outbord stearing to have somthing like a adjustable prop. Allways counter trust with the ruder and belong to the side the outbord looks propellerpitch is lower or higher .

Next time i build a counter rev duoprop outbord . Two gear , one engine ,very small skeg . Just ordered left and right hand flex cable .
