Racing was great over the weekend .

Very hot on Saturday and with all the food everone got ice cold water.

Total water packed in by me was 5 24 cases and others soon ran out of what they brung and were chuging down cold ones.... ( water that is ) .

Sunday started out with a little wind and cooler than Friday and Saturday, yet the sun was strong all weekend.

Broke some things yet had fun all the same. Great friends around at the pond what more could you ask for.

What an awesome weekend .

Racing on Fathers day with my Son and Daughter was easily the biggest thrill I have ever had in this hobby .

Lots of new faces , fantastic weather and some very close and exciting racing made this years event the best to date.

A very special thanks to all the great sponsors for their very generous donations , there were a lot of happy faces because of your generosity.

If you missed it this year you need to mark it down for next year because this club is determined to make this one of the best races in IMPBA and they are well on their way. .

Thanks to all who attended our event, hope to see you back, we'll be bigger and better next year! :)

Also a huge thank you to my fellow Northern Lights club members for all their hard work this past weekend, "it all works when we all work together". ;)

Look for a full article in an upcoming IMPBA Roostertail, but for now here's a couple pix I had to share:

Watching you and your kids brought back wonderful memories when my daughters were young and racing. Cherish these moments Tim. You have a great family!

Thanks for the awesome job as my pitman through out the weekend.

Thanks Randy and yes I am cherishing every second.

Oh and Terry it was only 60 dollars to pull the trailer both ways LOL.

We ended up with 98 boats total, look for an article in the IMPBA Roostertail next week. Here's a couple more pix and the results. :)

You have two very well behaved kids there Tim, the future of our sport!

Seeing the look on her face makes it all worth it... :D

Hey Tuan:

Sorry, we made a mistake with our new scoring s/w and you were actually 4th with 475.

Looks like you're just gonna have to come back and get doused for your "real first trophy" next year! :p

On second thought I'm not sure if this is a dousing or a baptismal by brother Tom!
