For everyone who took part in this race from near or far ( NY state, Quebec, Ottawa, Essex county - Windsor, Florida, Indiana, Delaware, Michigan, And many more; thank you all for making this a great competition. Please come back next year.

I would like to give a BIG THANKS to the Northern Lights MBC for all of your hard work. This includes Robin and Claire for their up to date score keeping and Roxy who did the work to provide us the opportunity for a great lunch. The club does an excellent job of running the race by making fair calls, they keep the day rolling, and this year provided a $10(CDN) lunch that was better than what most restaurants serve. The race site is nearly perfect for some incredible boat racing. It’s an excellent size, well protected from any kind of wind, and plenty of room for canopies. Most importantly are the people! This event attracts a really awesome group of people. Lots of smiles and laughs after another fun event! Thanks again NLMBC!

Thanks

Mike Ball

Mike said it perfectly. The NLMBC put on a first class event with help from ALL the club members. Its a ton of work to put on an event, and you guys did an EXCELLENT job. This is why I will drive 1200 miles round trip to come next year, and hopefully years to come.

Thanks again NLMBC for an extremely fun weekend even though I seem to own the 2nd place podium spot

By all accounts the Can-Am for 2018 was a huge success, thanks mainly to all our guests that came from miles around to make our party one of the best there is. Again a huge thank you to all our club members, family and friends and who shared the work so everything ran smoothly.

Results are posted to rcRacingEvents: http://www.rcracingevents.com/cgi-bin/raceresults.pl?action=show_race&club=Northern%20Lights%20Model%20Boat%20Club&event=canam2018

I'd like to echo my Son's comments, this is one of the best run races I've ever been to! Those of you that have not gone for one reason or another, you don't know what you're missing! Hats off to the Northern Light's Club!

It’s always great having you and Mike attend our races. The word is out. We had a record 160 boats this year. WOW!

Sorry about your 40 boat Steve.

Randy delivered a fitting tribute to our "silent engines" Kathy Menter, Jerry LaPorte, Andrew Lane and Tom Driver during the driver's meeting.
