the rear shoes ,are going to be added after the paint and will be non permanent ( just for testing , not for racing ).

At high speed they should not contact much with the water , slow speed getting up on plane should be faster .

+ they are heavy at the moment solid wood . if they work and are legal i will make them in fiberglass.

it must remain a 3 point hydro

Phil..

Nice build! Is that your own design? I don't recognize the hull but then again I don't run in the 20 class.

Cheers,

Dave

Phil,

It is really nice to see someone build their own hull and provide a little variety.

Here are the web sites for IMPBA and NAMBA so you can see the difference in rules. Where do you plan to race your new hull ???

1. IMPBA is:

www.impba.net

2. NAMBA Site is:

http://www.namba.com/content/default.asp , Select Resources, then select Rule Book.

Good luck on your initial testing. I believe you'll find that rear shoes/sponson are not legal for IMPBA or NAMBA. Here is a pic of my new Sport 40. CHEERS !!! Bob Johnson

The shoes wont be on the boat , the transom its too late to change

i did not know about the transom cutout not being legal..

Next build i'll change that so it is legal / impba / namba .

i will post pics of my 2008 20 hydro.
