Looks good! That Carbon fiber Veil you talk about, does that come as part of the kit? Or, something you're adding "just because?" Added strength would be my guess... Going wire drive? Who's engine mount?
Will be curious as to how it performs. Please let us know!!

Ken
Hello Ken, The Carbon Fiber Veil covered with Fiberglass is something I added for strength and to help keep the floor connected to the frames. Look at post #17 and I provide links to where I got the material. I will be using a 3/16 shaft with an oiler (cheapest castor oil I can find). The Delrin Floor mount I am using is made by Stumpfab here is the link--->Delrin sport 20 Mount
I hope to have it off to paint in 3 weeks so I can have it ready for its first race in May. My plan is to continue with this thread on everything I am doing so hopefully the next video will be installing the Brass Inserts in the transom.

Thanks for the support!

Brass inserts are installed video to follow soon.

Been lazy here lately on this. However I received my Lipgens Tanks in the mail and they are awesome. He is back to making tanks so make sure to reachout to Ryan. Hopefully this weekend I’ll get the ridepads glued, stuffing tube sleeve glued and possible wood base for the pipe mount in place.

Nice build Brad, you should be able to run all day with those fuel tanks...:))

Brad,

Should have asked Mike Z. to make you one of his slick 3D printed driveline supports. Those are SWEET!!!
Still looking 👀 looking good though.
The black “LOOKS RACY” 😀

Nice Job,

Mark

Planning out and building Radioboxes are my least favorite piece of the puzzle. It will be an enclosed removeable radiobox so it will make much easier to clean at the end of day.

Thanks Mark, just cant wait to get it on the water :)
I like the radio box that you're making, what steering linkage are you using for the steering linkage?
I will use 4-40 rod and sleeve it up with a K&S tubing, then step that up with a carbon fiber rod.
Those are Machined Carbon Fiber.. cool ey!
Very neat LongHair :)
