You could always make different ride pads, like Niklas recommends on his Keps FE 4SL . I'm going to try that on the boat that Brad built for me. Double sided tape and different thicknesses or even pads with angle built into them.

its not that hard, just make a enclosed bulkhead , close off both sides of the rear boom. make wooden spacer blocks , an shims,

some times we need to think OUT side of the box,

I didn't have much time last night, but I woke up this morning, lined up where the stuffing tube will go through, and cut that in the floor, and glued down the motor mount. I will start sheeting the sponsons and rear shoes maybe tonight. Getting closer and closer!! I cannot wait!

That's how I do all mine these days. At the rate we have to replace booms in these things, I'd rather have that part be easy. It's REALLY not that difficult to get the AoA, or Ride-Height, adjusted using stick-on ride-pads. Way easier than a shim-system, and gluing in pass-through tubes into the tub makes is stronger too.

Back on this thing. Rear shoes sheeted, and tub exterior epoxied. Sponson top decks will be added tonight, and I am going to add a quick coat of clear to the tub tonight to protect it..paint will come later once I know this thing works...Paint color already picked tho. 2016 Jeep Wranger Mojave Sand will be the color!

If the back of the boat hops you might have too much AOA on the rear sponsons. Hopefully not. Let us know how she runs!

Thanks John, it is at 3.25 degrees right now. If I have to adjust it, I can shim them easily so it wont be a deal breaker! haha. I will keep everyone updated when it goes in the water.

Ray, I posted on FB giving you props for making them. When I saw them in your pics, I knew I had to make some! They are the deal!!!! Made decking those sponsons an absolute breeze. Might even get me building for customers again! haha
