Butch,

So with you, Tom, and Ron racing this past weekend who had the

best heat race set up?

We had a nice 21-Hydro race in Saginaw yesterday with Mike Betke

showing us all how it is done on the race course. My new Blackjack-21

is coming along well after its first race and will need to improve in the next

two weeks before Burton's Mini Gold Cup Race.

Enjoy Testing,

Mark Sholund
Tom was really good,so was Butch. My boat is almost there ,need more water time

Hello Mark,

Thanks for your recommended ABC props on my JAE 21 G2.

The new 17 degree rake, 45 percent Barr props are hooking up well for heat racing on my boat.

I am looking forward in testing more of the game changers in the future.

I am glad I went to St. Anne this weekend with my buddy Mike Schindler and raced against Ron Zaker Jr. and Butch Londrigan.

Both are very competitive racers.

Ron has been very helpful when I was setting up my G2. Great guy and is a very good driver in this class as most boaters know.

In the second heat his boat was coming alive and I know he will have it in top form when he goes to the Nats.

I wish him good luck in Huntsville this year.

Ron, if you want a PPD valve, I'll set you up. LOL

I wish I could have made it to this one. I had a great time last year.

Tom have you had chance to test the 45 BAR props against the 38 BAR props of the same size? I was just curious if you found that the 45 BAR works better.

Thanks

Hello Greg,
I have not had the opportunity to test this area at present time.

This is my first season testing with a jae 21 and it's been hard to find good water at our lake this spring.

The testing that I was able to perform was usually always in choppy water.

But this I can share:

I was very impressed with the 45bar props that Mark has recommended.

In the rough water they were hooking up very well.

Once I finally tuned my engine correctly to the prop load, the boat was a rocket out of the turns in choppy water.

I worked with the aerodynamics of my G2. That helped to keep the boat from flying when I hit higher speeds in the rough water.

Fortunately, all this testing has paid off when I started heat racing.

I want to thank Andy Brown in pointing me in the right direction when I was tuning my CMB Beta with this set up.
